Appellant, Frederick Eldred Renneke, appearing pro se, filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus with the trial court seeking release from the custody of the Department of Corrections (the Department). He asserted that, pursuant to section 16-11-310, 8A C.R.S. (1986), he was entitled to release on January 28, 1988. The trial court denied the petition, holding that appellants continued incarceration was authorized pursuant to section 17-22.5-303(3) and (6), 8A C.R.S. (1986). Appellant has appealed that decision. We affirm.
